I make pretty, semantic, front-end code and I loves me some JavaScript. My favorite flavor is jQuery, but I'm comfortable working with Vanilla JavaScript, and have a working familiarity with YUI. I have worked with Prototype (and have done Prototype to jQuery conversions), but don't really care for it.

I feel that cleanly written, well commented code is the most important part of being a good developer. Refactoring is something we all must deal with, and so your code should be legible and understandable by other developers above all else. End soapbox rant. Enjoy!

In addition to the coding I've done for web design projects, I've had my hand in:

  • Development for complex e-commerce websites
  • Developing around JSP based e-commerce platforms
  • Implementing complex CMS for e-commerce
  • Client training for CMS (custom, Wordpress, and Drupal).
  • Upper-Intermediate Javascript experience
  • e-mail templating, optimization, and user testing
  • SEO, user-tracking methods and metrics
